I'm a big fan of Logic, but I have to vent. Maybe someone at Emagic can tell me how to solve this, but I've tried a million things and I don't see a way. - I spent a couple of years working with LAMP/AW8 - I recently moved my audio interface from AW8 to two MOTU 1224's - When I open projects created with the AW8 <brain-dead software> I lose all my insert settings in my audio mixer/fader objects. Logic sees that I used to have insert eq's, reverbs, etc., but they are 'crossed' out and there's no way to retrieve the settings. Even if I install the AW8 driver, there's no way to get my settings back. When I change them from AW8 to ASI, I lose even the crossed out, unusable inserts. </brain-dead software> - The only solution is to have both the AW8 and MOTU cards installed, and go through alot of hell saving settings, making notes about insert orders, etc., etc. EMAGIC, GIVE ME BACK THE SETTINGS I SPENT A GODLESS NUMBER OF HOURS WORKING ON.
