I have been using Logic for more than 5 years, and I think that the biggest
problem with it
is this issue that is being discussed. Say you have a few cues on a reel,
and you change
the tempo on the first one, if you lock smpte time for the other cues on the
reel, then they
are out of sync with the beat grid. Not to mention tempo changes are all
off.
One of my friends who uses dp says that you can isolate cues, so that tempo
changes at
earlier parts of the project do not affect later cues. Why doesn't Logic
integrate a system
like this? Where can I suggest this to the makers of logic? Film scorers
would use this
ability constantly, it would be so useful. I know I would.
