As I've posted before, my experience is that there isn't a whole lot of difference between CoreAudio interfaces when it comes to latency. I was surprised to find that, but I did. On the other hand, I haven't tried the Multiface (just their Fireface 400), so I can't say that this is true in every case. But it does seem to be with the MOTU PCI-424 and a whole bunch of FireWire interfaces.
