Subject: [LUG] Logic 7.1 no longer sees my Unitor8 mkII
Message #235406
I was troubleshooting some MOTU weirdness that led me to wipe my hard drive and reinstall all apps. I was running Tiger 10.4.8 and updated to 10.4.10 on the reinstall. It fixed the MOTU problem, but now Logic doesn't see my Unitor on the USB bus. I re-downloaded the Unitor hardware drivers from Apple support, but the Unitor set up software doesn't see my Unitor. I get midi in and midi out signal, but the USB connection led on the front panel does not light. 1. Do I need to get the original Unitor8 mkII USB drivers from somewhere?...or... 2. Is this an Audio Midi Setup problem ?(Audio Midi doesn't see my devices/I can add devices and name them, but cannot cable route them to each other)...or... 3. A Tiger 10.4.10 compatibility problem? 4. Or has my Unitor crapped out? Other possibly relevant info: Before the re-install, Logic was unusable due to "Problem syncing audio to midi" messages, even when no audio was present/ Power G4 1.25 /10.4.10 /(3) 896HD's. Thanks alot in advance.
