Too many choices indeed. It's a different discipline these days.
knowing when to say it's done let's move on... AND printing any
synths or effects before moving on because none of these sessions are
opening the same after the software is updated... it usually takes me
longer to reconstruct an old session than it took me to mix or write
to begin with....
I feel like I caught the final years of an era working with Tape
and a neve Console back in the early to mid 90's. It was an extremely
invaluable experience to hear things that way and noise was always a
concern.
I don't think the phrase " to tape" will ever go away ;)
