They may use a separate M-Audio USB MIDI driver, which you'll find in
/Library/Audio/MIDI Drivers/ or /Users/(username)/Library/Audio/MIDI
Drivers/
If so, you can remove the driver and they won't show up as MIDI
devices in the system.
