Well first thing is you need is 6 Neumann U47's in 3 stereo pairs
with at least 6 fett between each pair, one at the top, center of the
stairs, and bottom, recorded through Neve mic pre's (1072's) recorded
flat, going into an Apogee Rosetta 800 (with the Big Ben clock, of
course) connected to a Symphony card, into a Mac Pro, with at least
16 gig or ram, and a 2 terabyte dual raid with the 4 drive slots...
Make sure the pushee is wearing 100 % polyester, as the cotton
softens the blow, and noise of the event, and use wood stairs (wood
"sounds better" than cement or metal stairs, UNLESS you wish to
make
an impulse for Space designer)
If you don't have that equipment, you might as well give up cuz it
won't be a pro recording, ya amateur....
