Message #231953
Hi, > How do you guys keep track of what audio track objects, instrument > objects, bus objects > etc. are currently in use in the Arrange Page? Simple. Make sure to include the track object number at the beginning of the name. For example, name your tracks like this: 01Bass 02kik 03keys 04gtr etc...... This way, they will appear in order in your flip menu, plus let you know what is used and what is available. Try and keep the names short so it doesn't clutter up your mixer view at the bottom where the object names are. I have my autoload set up with a lower case a and i for audio tracks and instruments respectively. So my default names are: a01, a02, a03, a04 and i01, i02, i03, i04 etc. You can use b01, b02, b03, b04 etc for Buses. And maybe x01, x02, x03, x04 for Auxes. PS: As I mentioned in a similar post recently, using the "" character has an added advantage for MCU users. It filters out the prefix of the name (the number) in the MCU display. -------- Eli Krantzberg http://www.elikrantzberg.com http://www.nightshiftorchestra.com
