> dude, that wasn't a 707 at all. it was a LM-1 (one of the all-time > great > drum machines) and they used very little processing on it. Ah ok well in the bits where you hear it unprocessed it sounds as mushy as a 707 - though I'm sure at the time a snaredrum that sounded so 'realistic' was pretty special. Anyway, you can hear what a bit of post-reverb compression can do. :o) Maurits.
