Interesting. Is using this "move files to original" a key part of the process? No it´s not a part of the process. It was just used to underline that the placement was the same as when it was recorded and not aligned by hand in any way. If there was even the smallest inaccuracy ,timingwise or sonically, between the two tracks they wouldn´t have cancelled out each other completely but they did. There´s no doubt that this feature works very well in Logic.
