Making the tools work for you instead of the other way around. There will never be a (lasting) replacement for getting the basics down. Just keeping the approach fresh, sometimes I find myself looking at new plugins or softsynths thinking this might rejuvinate my ideas... Bad, doesn't work that way, now what I find more inspiring is to sit down with something I've used for a long time and discover new ways to use it or features I haven't explored yet. HW
