The arguments for using it seem about the same. Have any of you ever had problems with disabling it, I have all my samples on the audio drive so it would be a PITA to reinstall those. I still have all the CDs and DVDs but we´re talking 100s of GBs. I will post a question about which firewire drive to buy for my G5 PCI-X 2.3 in two minutes because I just realized that I have to have a backup drive. PS I do back up all my studio projects but the samples....not so much!!!
