Maybe you have it already but if by v5.5, you mean 5.5.0 then first of all download and install the 5.5.1 Platinum update at: http://download.info.apple.com/Apple_Support_Area/emagic/Legacy_SW/Windows%2 0SW/ > However I can't get my EXsamples (previously used with EXSP24) to show up in > EXS24 in Logic platinum. I've moved them all over to the folder 'C:Program > FilesemagicLogic 5Sampler Instruments' > but in logic they don't show up in EXS24 in the instrument editor etc. All > the file types are .wav or .aif > What is the problem? Do you mean the instruments load but can't find any samples or that there are no EXS instruments to load at all? - Maybe you just only moved your samples over , not any exs files? By default (I think), you get two EXS24 related folders installed by Logic - 'EXSamples' - where the actual samples go - and 'Sampler Instruments' - where the '*.exs' files go. These directories can be changed, however. (I just save all mine to the Sampler Instruments folder). Or did you do that already and haven't replicated the arrangement in your new set-up... the exs file tells the EXS24 where to look for it's samples. You could also go to the 'Sampler Preferences' in the EXS24 Instrument Editor' and check the directory next to 'Search samples on...' > I have this great sample CD called 'Xtreme Analog Samples' which is > really great and I want to use it. You could just try reinstalling it. That's all I can think of right now. ___ Ade
