On my system bypassing it does not help. There is latency either way. I have to actually remove the plug in completely in order to get around it. Fortunately the Ad Limiter isn't too complicated a plug in to have to reset. I seem to recall that it used to work the way the poster above describes. But it doesn't seem to anymore with Logic Pro 7.1.1 on a dual 1.25 G4 running OS 10.4.7.
