Subject: Logic 6.4.3 (Mac OS 9.2.2) Crashes on Boot - Error Type 1,2,3,10,11 - Too much MIDI Data in 5 seconds
Message #226893
Hi, I am new to this site, so please bear with me. I use Logic Platinum 6.4.3 which is the last version made for Mac OS 9.2.2 (Please correct me if I'm wrong) on my Dual CPU G4 (Multi Boot: Mac OS X & Mac OS 9.2.2 Natively) I also use Apple Logic 7 in Mac OS X on my MacBook Pro Laptop. I use the G4 Dual CPU in Mac OS 9.2.2 because I own a Ensoniq Emu PARIS System which only runs Natively in Mac OS 9 as Mac OS X is NOT supported. ISSUE: Every time I open Logic Platinum 6.4.3 with much more than enough (More than recommended) Memory it crashes & asks with a dialogue box "Try To Save Your Song". Crashes with Error Type 1, 2, 3, 10, 11 (Memory Errors I think). Sometimes it says that "Too much MIDI data was sent within 5 seconds" & "There might be a MIDI Loop - Check all connections especially BETWEEN APPLICATIONS" - What does this mean & how can I check this? Is this between OMS & Logic? Any help would be much appreciated... Donovan Jenkins PRODUCER
