Subject: [LUG] Logic Kontakt as multi instrument problem
Message #226870
Hi, I'm trying to get Kontakt working as a multi instrument within Logic, so that I can assign 3rd party effects to each channel individually. I've done all the obvious stuff - loaded the Kontakt AU as an multi instrument, created a couple of audio objects, changed them to Kontakt auxes, selected Kontakt outputs 3-4, 5-6 on the auxes, assigned the virtual outs on Kontact to them, set Logic's Kontakt "midi chan" parameter to "all", assigned the instruments different midi channel and the auxes to their corresponding midi channels. My problem is that, although the aux meters are showing that there is signal coming through, when I create the Aux tracks in the Arrange menu and select one, the instruments don't play. So, I'm frustratingly close to getting it working, but I don't currently have any way to actually play in the instruments that I'm assigning! Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong? Thanks...
