Have you tried the UM900? I keep hearing very good things about it, but have yet to get an opportunity to try for myself. Sorry no, I only found out about the UMT70s because I did some backing vocals in another studio years ago. They had one and I liked it a lot so I checked it out. I used to do backing vocals more or less as a job so I had tried all the standard mics by the time my roads crossed with Gefell. Gefell is a well kept secret and I have never seen any of the other mics that they produce. I have seen some reviewed and according to those they are great but no hands on experience.
