Mercenery Audio has these listed for U.S. $1,450 (1,086 Euros). You have to add shipping and 20-30 procent of the entire sum which would bring this one up to almost 2000 dollars. Maybe with this new lower price tag they will sell more and bring the other high end mics a bit down in price too. It's still ridiculous that the U87 is twice as expensive as a UMT70s when they are basically the same and impossible to tell apart soundwise. I bet if Gefell had chosen to stay with the can look they would be taken more seriously. Ironically the Gefell have a much better design in use but they don'´t look like most people expect them to. PS I love the Gefells so I also love the Neumanns it's just the price difference I find over the top.
