But there are the plug-ins Guitar Amp Pro and Bass Amp. I just checked an old review of Logic 7 and GAP was not new then so probably it was introduced with Logic 6. I have no idea when Bass Amp was introduced, but I know it was used in Garageband before it got a part of Logic Pro.
