The old blue Emagic and newer white Apple XSkeys have identical functions - they hold licence authorisations for various versions of logic. What they hold depends purely and simply on what has been purchased. A blue XSkey can hold both PC and Mac licences, and can be upgraded to Logic 7 pro, just the same as a white XSkey, which can also hold PC and Mac licences. HTH, kind regards Mark Cahill
