Subject: [LUG] Opening file from DAE system on Core system
Message #225460
I posted this message on the Apple newsgroup, and received some good suggestions, but still have no success. I have old files, done on Logic using DAE/DTDM/ESB, and want to open them on the Core system I now have. The problem is that I can't see presets I used on my plugs (Atmosphere, Stormdrum, etc.) because they are now "crossed" out and when I change the "instrument" input from DAE to CoreAudio a new fader opens and the plug-in is then blank. All I want to do is open the plug to see what presets I previously used. Is there any way to discover which presets I used on any particular plug-in I used on a DAE track when opened on a Core system. I no longer have access to the DAE system. I have tried deleting all the DAE objects, then saving and reloading the file in hopes that Logic would ask me if I want to open the file in CoreAudio. All of the tracks I'm concerned with are DTDM Instrument tracks. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cobb
