Subject: [LUG] Positive feedback???
Message #224278
Hello, I see a lot of posts on this board regarding Logic crashing for various reasons on an Intel Mac. Also Native Instruments UB version of Kontakt seems to be buggy. Since I'm upgrading next week to a MBpro, I would like to know if there are any users out there who run smoothly the following on a MBP: Logic 7.2 EastWest Libraries using Kontakt 2 (since the kompakt players that come with them are not supported anymore, or maybe someone knows of another option?) Stylus RMX (I know we still have to wait a little longer for Atmosphere to be Intel ready) Serato LE Melodyne (studio and plug-in) Guitar Rig 2 For the moment I have this stuff running on a PBG4 1.5 2G Ram with Metric Halo interfaces and though the "core audio overload" pops up frequently on bigger projects, I'm overall not unhappy with it. So I hope you guys have some "good news" experiences to share. Thanks a lot. Ab
