You should probably change the wording on this last one.. SD WILL
unintentionally overwrite your sounds if you touch ANY parameter at all
in a module. Hell itll overwrite the same sound back on top of itself if
you just open the editor and close the window without even touching
anything! Gotta love that 'feature'..
Glad I dont plan on buying any synths that have come out in the last 3-4
years anytime soon cause Ill have to learn to use the actual interface
on the synth itself now!! :D
Youre better off searching out a used copy of 3.05 and installing it
under Windows or Mac OS 9.. It is possible to use it for editing and
boot back into OS X and go with Logic afterwards.. Since Autolink doesnt
function under OS X anyways, theres really no reason to keep using the
buggy beta unless of course you hate booting back into OS 9 or youve got
one of them newfangled gizmos that wont boot into 9.. Its easy enough to
just copy/paste the patch list from SD 3.0 into a text file then
copy/paste that into your environment when booted into 10.. This is how
you have to do it now with the beta anyways.. Might as well be safe and
secure with your patches..
