First you should set up the channels on the emx by clicking the midi button and assigning the drums a channel and each voice a channel. you might also want to check the midi utility and make sure that you areent filtering note data. then you go into logic and make a Multi Instrument in the environment and assign it to the port the EMX is on. sorry if this is vague, i can reply with more, i just don't know how much you need.
