Subject: Re: [LUG] Sequencing Primer? MIDI-less sequencing techniques?
Message #222955
This is a reply to #222810.

I want to be able to simply type in note data one note at a time without even a faux-keyboard-like interface. Has anybody ever step-sequenced something on a Roland MC-4 or QY-700 sequencer? I want to simply input note data the way you see it in the event list editor--purely text entry. I know how to edit pre-existing notes in the event list editor to an extent, but if you use the ^E to edit the current event, it goes straight to the note on parameter and doesn't allow you to tab through other fields for the same event in any way I can figure out. It seems like you have to double click the event on a different field each time. -Steven
