"Protect MIDI" is a misnomer: if checked it forces MIDI events to
stay ties to Bar/Beat position after new tempo events are created.
This makes the performance sound different then what was there. If
unchecked, events are frozen at their absolute positions while tempo
events are created, and they sound identical after Beatmapping.
Don't Check that box unless you know what you want!
