Subject: Trying to use Kontakt in Logic 7.2 with multiple midi channels
Message #222931
I want to use the multichannel options in a window of Kontakt (I'm using Native's EWSO). "Create instrument" is my starting point - but when I then change the midi channel of the created channel strip, the first channel strip also changes to the new midi channel. I have followed hints on the internet and tried the "Options > Preferences > MIDI > Use Unified and Classic MIDI Engine" approach (Logic Pro 7 Plug-In reference - page 25) but I can't find that option anywhere on the GUI. I searched this forum for answers first and discovered message #217193 which suggests the same problem. The trail runs cold after a couple of responses! I can workaround by starting a brand new instance and channel strip every time but the main problems here are processor power restrictions and being forced to duplicate any local plugins and parameters. Has anyone else come across a solution to this? Cheers, Richard
