FireWire, the more bandwith it takes and the more likely you may have

Hi,
I have used Ivory with a PB 1,33, 2Gb ram and FF800 at 128 buffer with fine
results. Well,
sometimes with playing many (16 or more ?) notes like with the sustainpedal
pressed it
gave strange results.
My experiences are believe ram and speed of HD are the most important
factors, then CPU
overhead. Ivory's pianos are 10Gb presets... Dont think your problems are
related to the
bandlimit
Now on a MBP Ivory seems to work better, but the Clavia Nord Stage both
sounds and feels
much better and never crackles... that is even with a 32 mb preset...
Best
