Well, you can actually have access to your audio by right clicking
(control clicking) and choosing "Show Package Contents" like some
OSX
files or app packages, but yes, it will limit indeed the usability of
GB.
And there's nothing like the Audio Window as in Logic to manage audio
files.
Garage Band is always non destructive.
So, if you want to cut an audio file within the GB interface, you can't.
I've found out about that when I was thinking in using GB to split,
in a separate and smaller files, a very long recording from a podcast
I was doing.
It's not possible (at least not without bouncing) in GB.
Maybe in GB 4 this next jan, 9th.
