i am getting a disc slow/processor slow error message each time i try to play projects with anything over 8 tracks. i am using absolutelt no plug ins. i can't believe i am not doing something really stupid because logic cannot possibly be this hungry. my computer isn't cutting edge by no means but i should be able to play 32 tracks no plug ins shouldn't I? i am a relatively recent pro tools convert. i really would prefer not to go back, but i can't work this way. please help! gear: apple ibook g4 1G proc 768 ram firewire external drive - either lacie or g-tech raid prism ada-8 converter 2nd prism ada-8 converter (converters are both firewire and each are 8 channels a/d/a - ibook has only 1 firewire 400 buss so all the converters and drive are daisy chained) perhaps these converters are hungery as they are pretty serious converters but i don't know. thanks in advance steve maglio
