Hi All,
Not directly Logic related, but I'm sure many will be able to answer
some basic questions I have.......
I plan on using my new Macbook (2.0 model) with Garageband to record
a live male speaker with Garageband. I've just been poking around it
for a while and can't seem to find a few basic things I'm wondering
about.
I will need to record for about an hour straight. Is there anywhere
to set a "record time" or record length, like there is in Logic?
Is
there any maximum file length or file time I need to know about?
Also, what about setting a file type. There doesn't seem to be any
choice in GB other than AAC - at different resoloutions. Is there any
way to record directly to another format?
Also, now this is a real basic question - where exactly does GB store
the recorded audio? I can't seem to find it in the default Music GB
subfolder. And there seems to be no associated audio where the actual
GB song file resides.
Thanks. And any other gottcha's or tips for recording a full hour of
live dialogue with GB on a Macbook would be welcome.
