Subject: [LUG] Gradual tempo change in Logic Express 7?
Message #222866
Happy new year everyone! I'm relatively new to Logic but have a pretty firm grasp on how most things work but one thing is driving me up the wall, and it doesn't seem to be a feature in the Express version but maybe I'm missing it. How do you increase the tempo gradually, say over 4 bars? I have 6 tracks going at the moment. The track is 120 BPM. I changed the tempo to 80 for a 4 bars, but now I want to make the tempo gradually ramp back up to 120. Unfortuantely in the tempo list you can only do a jump to a new tempo but not a gradual increase. I know there is a way with the pencil tool to do this - I read something about the tempo graphic editor but I don't think this is a feature in the Express version. Help? Thanks! Erica
