I have not used the C03U - but what you need to realize is, the A/D conversion is performed inside of the mic. If the only sensitivity control is the 10BD pad, then that is all that you can do adjustment wise. You will simply have to position the mic at a distance - or - at an angle that will allow less sound into the mic, to avoid clipping. YMMV Dave Shirk Pamlico Sounds
