This is a reply to #221803.
Have you tried changing the default setup of the arrange window to see if that changes anything? I imagine it sounds like a bug that deleting some local preferences might fix, but being new to Logic on the mac (I just jumped to 7.2.3 from 5.5.1 on the PC) I could very well be talking out of a dark orifice.
