Since the introduction of OS X, RAM assignment is a thing of the past,
because your OS does it for you automatically. Which is GREAT!
It's still a good idea to buy as much RAM as you can afford, because
it will be allocated throughout when you are recording and editing in
Logic Pro. Plug-ins, Instruments, Logic, and your OS will all need RAM.
