Subject: garage band /logic issue
Message #220554
Hello All, Here's my situation. I ended up getting logic express for free from applem because of the following. When garage band went to garage band three, a problem with the garage band software organ insturment developed. Basically, the sound intensity of the organs went way low. So much so, that when i was recording multiple tracks, I could barely hear the organ track. However, if I just played an apple loop organ rif , the sound intensity was good. But when i drag the loop into a track, the sound intensity went low again. I thought it was my computer, however, after spending countless hours on the phone with apple, the technicians produced the same problem on their computers . They were supposed to fix the problem with a garage band software update. They never did fix the issue, but in the end , they gave me Logic express. So now i have logic epxress which i am slowly learning. I have noticed that when i pull the garage band organ iinstrument into logic , there is still the sound intensity issue. So, I have a few questions. 1. Has anybody else had this issue with gargage band? 2. Does logic express have its own organ instrument , and how do i use it? 3. Does logic have it's own computer musical typing keyboard like garage band has, and if so how do I access this keyboard in logic. Any help would be great. Thanks Kevin
