waves restoration bundle does work well for this stuff. the xnoise plug in
can be used to
remove hiss from location audio. i did that on a indie short film a week ago
and was pleased
with the results. in the end, you no longer hear the hiss and everything
sounds much
smoother.
some of the noises you mentioned are probably in there for good. low cut
applied in the right
places is always a help.
i don't have real experience with cedar, probably the best noise removal
software out there. it
might do more than the waves bundle, but at a price.
