You could try a 3rd party app called.....AU Manager Here: http://www.grantedsw.com/aum/ It allows you to enable/disable AU plugs, and even make sets of selections for the very purposes you mention. It simply moves all disabled plugs to a folder called <Components (Disabled) > and moves them back when you need them. Great app - I use it often. Regards - Colin
