A very bad thing in DAW recording. :-) It is the time it takes the audio signal to go into your mic, then go into your audio interface through the A/D converter, then through Logic and going out to your monitors or headphones, passing through the D/A converter. Well. Let me try to help. Which audio interface are you using? If it is one that has some kind of direct monitoring feature, use it and disable software monitoring in Logic. Or try lowering the buffer size in Logic's audio driver preferences. You gotta have a very powerful Mac with a lot of RAM and a good driver from the manufacture of your audio interface to be able to use lower buffer sizes such as 128, 64... How's your Mac/Logic set up? Regards, Gordon
