I upgraded fron 10.4.7 to 10.4.8 in my PowerMac G5 2x1.8 Ghz, and the Audio_midi utility recognize my AMT-8 without problems, and Logic Pro 7.2.3 works well (and my AMT-8 works fine). You can try to reinstall the latest version of AMT-8 drivers, perhaps this help you. Regards. Quino
