Ok, check that: There aren't any other tracks using the same Audio object with mute automation on them (in theory this shouldn't be possible as the automation is global, but...), and/or There aren't any CC9/Fader 9 events on that track (or others using the same Audio object), or CC9/Fader 9 events arriving via environment cable. If neither of those apply, open the automation event list (keycommand only), then open a new Arrange window - you'll be in the "hidden" automation folder. Check there aren't any stray automation regions on that track, and that there aren't duplicates of that track. If that still doesn't work, it may be a screwed-up song, possibly as a result of bringing an old song or autoload into Logic 7.
