All good advice Peter.. except the G4 DA (Digital Audio) doesn't have
a line or mic input. I know because two weeks ago I purchased one on
E-bay. :-) It actually does list the CD as an input source.
Last week I purchased an RME PST interface for a $100 on EBay and
it's working very nicely in this machine.
For djevon.. all of the adice you've received is good but you will
need an audio interface, preferably one with MIDI.
Tascam makes some reliable USB interfaces plus there are several
inexpensive ($250 or less) Firewire interfaces with MIDI out there.
Peter, if you're still reading, I have a couple of questions about
OSX that I'd like to ask. None of them would take more than a
sentence to answer, would you be up for it if I sent you private mail?
