I have a song with a track i want to use in a new song I have the original track in the arrange window open, with lots of automation data and a specific instrument. I want to copy this to a new song that i simultaneously have opened arrange window. I thought i should be able to choose the original track by clicking on it in the arrange window, select copy and just paste it to the new arrange window, but it doesn't seem to be that simple. what am i missing? In the end i want to have the track with all its automation data, the instrument, its plug ins all from the original track copied to the arrange window of my new song.
