Subject: [LUG] A track is muting itself even after I've deleted the automation data
Message #219331
I have an audio instrument that I have automated the mute through out a song. I wanted to change the muting so I edited the muting visually on the track suing the pointer. Upon playback the old muting timing was used even though visually I was watching the automation muting line showing a different timing of the muting. So I tried writing over the tracks automation by setting the audio instruments channel to 'write' automation mode. Even in write mode it switched back as if the old muting data was still there. I can watch the mute button turn on and off on the arrange page channel strip of this instrument so I know it is being muted. This has to be a bug. Automation data being ignored in favour of old deleted data. Write mode not writing over every thing and actually reading this invisible data when it is in write mode. If this is pilot error I would love to know the explanation. I have enough in life saving for music equipment, learning to use it and then maybe getting my personal inspiration down to have to deal with Logic not doing what it is supposed to. Roman.
