pete ostry, thanks for your response. now i have another question here. I just bought the m- audio firewire 410 audio/midi interface. it is a small box. anyway, i set it up to work but i have a problem here. when i want to record analog into logic running the analog source into the m-audio's input but sounds very loud like it's way too hot. i tried everything to bring down the volume. i went to into the computers audio midi set up(ams) then to logic's audio panel, and also the m-audio mixer software. and no success. can you help me on this please. hopefully someone can chime in. thanks again for your response. cheers, djevon
