The way other developers get around this is to create a virtual CoreMIDI source port within the plugin, which Logic will add to the environment's Physical Input object. Unfortunately I don't think you can do this using pluggo - the standard max MIDI i/o objects don't work inside a pluggo (?) - so you'd have to write your own custom Max object to handle port creation and MIDI output.
