I can't get this to work reliably with my > RME FF800. You've got a couple of red flags in your system. The Liquidchannel may not be playing right with your FW Bus, so disconect it when you're trying to lay down tracks. You also have a MOTU 896 and a Korg Oasys in your computer. Really strange stuff to have when you're using a FW audio set-up. This is probably why you're having troubles. Is the Korg Oasys ever compatible with OSX? I'm surprised if it is, because it's really old. Take all the auxillary toys out of your system and see if your FF800 starts performing better. I use a RME-FF800 with no problem whatsoever while having 128 sample buffer. But all I have in PCI is a UAD-1 card. So, there's no strain on my FW bus or PCI bus. The Fireface has recorded and played back flawlessly whenever I've used it. Cheers
