Select whatever regions you want to include, Issue the appropriate key command and a new window opens with the selected regions inside. Then using a process like automation you click a dot on the first segment, the region you wish to use first. Then decide your next region via some rapid auditioning process, probably looped. Draw a line from that first dot that ends at a second dot that is your second segment. Keep going until done with the entire comp region. Then go back and via a rapid drawing process specify the places where the first region transitions to the second. Have individually editable crossfade times between regions. Slip the regions as need be. Each time you select a segment for inclusion it can be independently slipped forward or backward as needed. Then finally do a special bounce that creates a single track, your comp. Bob Vandiver
