Any thoughts MIDI Loops cause that kind of behavior. However... some DX7's, especially early ones had some funky MIDI implementation. Try it with only MIDI out of the DX7 connected to your MIDI interface. Logic monitors all MIDI INS (or used to) so have only one device (the DX) using it's MIDI out port. HW
