You can actually 'unmix' the GM track by midi channel to create individual midi instrument tracks - determined by the midi channels actually used in the GM track Depending on the source quality, the 'new' individual midi tracks will include some kind of instrument name and even GM instrument assign number These individual tracks do not need a GM sound module but can be assigned to anything you want ... Note: GM Drumkits are usually on channel 10 - and these can be further 'unmixed' by midi note number to give you individual drum tracks cheers
